Designed to let you align one shape to another, like trying to align text to a slanted edge. Lets you pick a rotation point on a shape, and rotate / scale it freely around that point. The new Boolean Assistant lets you preview the different Boolean options, then pick the one that works. Boolean AssistantĮver have trouble remembering which Boolean option is the right one? You're not alone. You can find it in Tools > Print and Cut. We also have a new video up, showing how to salvage a job without markers in it, using the Print and Cut feature. The new Print and Cut wizard walks you through it, making the whole process simpler. Print and Cut is great, but it hasn't been very easy to use. With this in place, we'll be working on adding support for these virtual arrays on DSP controllers. The array properties and content can be changed, and the array updates automatically: What you’ll be able to to do by the end of the certification: You’ll be able to cut objects from 1/8″ and 1/4″ wood, paper, acrylic, EVA foam, and some types of fabric.If you create a grid array, you now have the option to make it virtual, meaning that the copies are generated on the fly. Open to members of Seattle Makers and non-members members can enroll for a discounted rate. This course is the certification to be able to use the laser cutters at Seattle Makers to make your own projects. Complete your checkout with both your certification AND your practical. Select a Machine Practical time that works for you on our event calendar and add it to your cart.
An in-person practical session (included in the price of this certification) will be required before you are approved to use the lasers at the space. This remote course will certify you for use on the lasers at Seattle Makers once we re-open. We will email you a link for you to join the online classroom the day of the event. ** Note: this class will be taught remotely and students should NOT come to the makerspace as we are closed due to Covid-19.
